God’s got you, this time you are doing it in Jesus name and he’s got your back

Matthew 5:16 “Let your Light So Shine before men so that they may see your good Works and Glorify your Father in Heaven”

This scripture has meant a lot to me this week…As I learn what my God given gifts are, I know that I am an Encourager and have to share that gift.

This week my husband and I were blessed with the opportunity to share Family Fun And Games along with Canaan Christina Arts Ministry at Canaan Baptist Baptist Church on Friday Night. Sharing fun and interactive workshops in team building and communications was a gift that the Lord blessed me with but one that I was about to give up on. Before I had my sugarplums (Little Girls) I was a fulltime actress and Workshop Facilitator. But, I hadn’t done very many workshops in the past several years, maybe 10 and began to doubt myself as to whether or not people would still want to be apart of them. I have been praying but got really low and when I thought I would give up God sent me a word through my husband. I told my husband how I had been feeling and that I wanted to give up and he said “Go ahead and try again Kala. God’s got you… this time you are doing it in Jesus name and he’s got your back.” We did the workshop and it went great and the families had a ball! Halleujah!
