After 15 years, the long-running syndicated court show “Judge Joe Brown” will end.

Apparently, Judge Joe Brown and his syndicator, CBS TV, were in the midst of renegotiations and could not come to terms on a new deal.

The 65-year-old television arbitrator is a former Shelby County, Tennessee Criminal Court Judge.

His television court show premiered on September 12, 1998 and has boasted solid ratings throughout its run.

“We would like to thank Joe for 15 great years, as well as executive producerJohn Terenzio and the entire staff for all their hard work and dedication to the show,” a CBS TV Distribution spokesperson said.

The Washington, DC-bred Brown has not commented on the show’s end.

Fun Fact: Did you know that it was former talk show host Rolonda Watts that is the voice of “Joe Judge Brown.” Her voice is the narrator of the series and is featured in all of the show promos.
