Today’s Daily Faith-Lift™ is designed to remind us that there is a blessing in just “being”!
As we continue to move into the New Year making the necessary changes to “do” better this year than last year, let’s take the word “do” out and replace it with the word “be”. Let’s take the word “doing” out and replace it with the word “being”. Let’s touch and agree to “be” better. Let’s touch and agree to stop “doing” and start “being.”
- Spend time “being” with God!
- Spend time “being” a human being!
- Spend time “being” in prayer with God!
- Spend time “being” in God’s Word!
- Spend time “being” in daily devotion!
- Spend time “being” in worship with God!
- Spend time “being” quiet before the Lord; after all, you have to be near Him to hear Him!
When we are “doing” that means we are busy doing something. When we are busy “doing” takes time away from “being” with God. As a friendly reminder, busy is the acronym for Being Under Satan’s Yoke!
Carve out some time today to just “be” on your calendar. You will discover as I’m discovering more and more, there is a blessing in “being.”
