Could Jamie Foxx be mean enough to fill Simon Cowell’s shoes on “American Idol?” Maybe so.
According to Life & Style, the Academy Award winning actor and singer is one of the names being tossed around to replace Cowell when he leaves “Idol” after the current season.
Cowell is leaving “Idol” so he can focus on bringing his British hit “X Factor” stateside in 2011.
Foxx is no stranger to “Idol,” either.
Last season, he mentored the finalists during Rat Pack week and performed his single “Blame It” on the mega-hit reality show.
Other bold-faced names mentioned as a possible replacement for Cowell include Interscope Records co-founder Jimmy Iovine and Madonna, according to Life & Style.
