According to CNN, as many as 26 people were killed in the school shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, CT. Unfortunately, this is just one of many instances of gun violence in america that could have been avoided, but how? Could we have avoided the movie theater shooting in Colorado? How bout the Oregon mall shooting, which took place earlier this month, could have have stopped that from happening?
Many believe that America’s gun laws are way too lax. People can buy guns, including automatic weapons at gun shows all across the country. Illegal firearms are in our inner-cities as well as our suburbs, but are they the reason for all the deaths? Should Illegal Firearms Be Banned In America?
