Eagles cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha attended a fundraiser in Oakland earlier this week, and shared a few words with the Commander-in-Chief, President Barack Obama. Obama and Nnamdi talked football for a while and the president had some words of wisdom for Eagles QB Michael Vick.

“He told me to tell Vick to slide. I promise,” Asomugha said upon arriving at training camp, via Andy Schwartz of CSNPhilly.com. “We talked about football for about three or four minutes. The one thing that stuck out — tell Vick to slide.”
With the start of training camp, let’s hope Michael Vick takes President Obama’s advice and hit the deck when Linebackers are coming to tee off. Only time will tell…
