I’m one of those people who believe in saying good things about people as well as giving people their flowers while they are living; and not just at their “Homegoing Service.”And it seems like the U.S. Postal Service is beginning to have the same sentiments as well.

In order to boost sales, the U.S. Postal Service is waiving the rule requiring stamp honorees to be deceased for at least five years. Instead, living people who have “made enduring contributions to the United States of America” will now appear.

Customers are encouraged to submit their Top 5 favorite picks for stamp honorees at www.facebook.com/USPSStampsor @USPSStamps on Twitter.
