Queen Latifah will be starring in an upcoming movie about a struggling gospel choir and will portray the mother of a couple of teenagers who takes the reins of a Gospel Choir after the choir leader dies. The inspirational movie is scheduled for release in January 2012! Plus, according to Latifah’s fan site, Gospel artist Kirk Franklin will also be featured in the film leading a new song made for the movie! We’ll keep you posted!
Meanwhile, Queen Latifah testifies that the Bible reigns first in her life. She credits the Bible for keeping her balance as a female rapper turned actress, spokesperson for CoverGirl, among many other things. Latifah told a news publication that she has 2 traveling necessities: her Bible and her iPod! Girlfriend has to have her Word and music on the go!
