Christmas with Jesus Poem

Yes, it’s Christmas time. A perfect time to send warm Christmas poems to your friends and family and show them how much you care. So here is a the Christmas with Jesus poem just for you by Christmas Carnivals. Categories at Christmas Carnivals include Christmas poems, Christmas with Jesus poem etc.

The poem, fully known as I’m Spending Christmas with Jesus, is written by Wanda Bencke for her 13 year old handicapped daughter, Lyndsara Bencke. On Christmas day 1997, she had a seizure and was in a coma for five days before she died. During those five days Wanda wrote the poem. She sent it out in a belated Christmas card to friends and relatives that year. They also sent it on to other friends and relatives, thus the poem and the story behind it have been changed.

I SEE THE COUNTLESS CHRISTMAS TREES,

AROUND THE WORLD BELOW.

WITH TINY LIGHTS, LIKE HEAVEN’S STARS

REFLECTING ON THE SNOW.

THE LIGHT IS SO SPECTACULAR,

PLEASE WIPE AWAY THAT TEAR.

FOR I AM SPENDING CHRISTMAS

WITH JESUS CHRIST THIS YEAR.
