The March For Jesus occurs every year in cities around the world and is held close to Pentecost. The March For Jesus is just that, in honor of Him… it is not a march for churches, or a march for the poor, or to recognize anyone else, but Jesus Christ and Him Alone.

Originally the cities around the world were coordinated, but now is left up to the individual cities to arrange how they will participate. In the City of Camden, NJ, Pastor Simon and Lily McCoy of the Brightstar Church Center, 434 Spruce Street, hold regular planning meetings throughout the year.

The March For Jesus in Camden normally starts out at Broadway and Kaighn Avenues in Camden, and proceeds along Broadway in a parade sometimes ending at City Hall, and at other times proceeding to the Waterfront Park at the end of Mickle Boulevard. Performances by several local churches include Praise Dancing, Bands, Testimonies, fun, food, and fellowship.
