Dick Clark Productions is planning to pay tribute to Aretha Franklin during the upcoming American Music Awards next month. Appearances are expected from Gladys Knight, Mary Mary, Ledisi, Donnie McClurkin and Cece Winans. It’s reported that they will “pay tribute to Aretha Franklin’s gospel roots and her iconic album, Amazing Grace.”
Tracee Ellis Ross will be this year’s host again.
The 2018 American Music Awards, the world’s largest fan-voted awards show, will broadcast live on TUESDAY, OCT. 9 (8:00–11:00 p.m. EDT), on ABC.
