Philly.com- On Monday The Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office said that due to the questions about the credibility of Meek Mill’s arresting officer, his ten-year-old conviction on drug charges should be vacated and he should be granted a new trial.

Assistant  District Attorney Liam Riley disclosed the recommendation during a status hearing. This marked the first time prosecutors have publicly agreed with the claim by Mill’s lawyers that his arrest in 2007 might have been improper.

It could also signal they would not press forward with a new trial  — possibly freeing Mill from the legal trouble he’s had for a decade.

Still, Mill’s release from prison is not yet secured, nor has his case been officially tossed out.

Identity Of Michael Cohen’s ‘Mystery’ Client Revealed As Sean Hannity

Huffpost- Michael Cohen, President Donald Trump’s personal lawyer, has also represented Fox News’ Sean Hannity, a court hearing revealed Monday.

Cohen’s lawyers exposed the identity of Cohen’s previously unnamed client in a courtroom in New York after a federal judge ordered them to do so.

Cohen appeared in court Monday as part of a federal investigation into his business and financial dealings. The FBI raided his office last week, reportedly seizing documents related to payments he made to adult film actress Stephanie Clifford, whose stage name is Stormy Daniels, and another woman Trump has been accused of having a sexual relationship with in the past.
