In 1960, The Philadelphia Eagles played in the second and last NFL Championship Game played in Philadelphia. It was the only game played on the world-renowned Franklin Field. As we approach the coming Super Bowl LII (52) we remember our triumphant team led by Buck Shaw that conquered then-head coach of the Green Bay Packers and future Hall of Famer, Vince Lombardi.

One player, we have to recognize is Ted Dean. A native of Radnor, PA, Dean culminated his rookie season with the Eagles by taking the lead by scoring the final touchdown. The Eagles dominated the final five minutes, ending the game with a 17-13 final against Green Bay.
