One of my most favorite songs these days is a song by a new artist. His name is Gene Moore. Well I love his entire project, but the single we have here at radio is “Recover”. One of the main lines says “don’t count me out I’m on my way to better day, to a brighter day, I will recover all.”

I think many times we let people count us out. We even count our ownselves out, but this song and God’s word are great reminders. God promised to never leave us never to forsake us. He promised to be with us always. So that means he’s with us when we are up, when we are down, when we are somewhere in the middle. And it means that as long as God is with me, which he promised, that I always win.

Even when it looks like you’re falling behind or up against one of your biggest enemies like David was against the Amalekites, God has already given his word that if you pursue, you will overtake every enemy, every foe, every battle, every disease and without fail, recover all.

1 Samuel 30:8 (KJV) – And David inquired at the LORD, saying, Shall I pursue after this troop? shall I overtake them? And he answered him, Pursue: for thou shalt surely overtake them, and without fail recover all.
