On Wednesday, The F.B.I. announced that it was seeking information about a second Uzbek man in connection with the truck attack this week in Lower Manhattan, as prosecutors charged Sayfullo Saipov, the driver of the truck.

 Saipov claimed he drew inspiration from ISIS videos while in civilian court.

The F.B.I. annouced an alert saying they were looking for data in regards to the man, Mukhammadzoir Kadirov, 32, a Uzbek, regarding the terror attack.

A sampling of 3,000 ads ads that Russian operatives bought on Facebook were released by lawmakers, revealing how the imposters acted in promoting Donald Trump while also influencing and dividing Americans during the election while also igniting social issues, including race. 

The advertisements lured online interactions of Americans who were concerned about issues such as immigration, gun rights, activism, race and religion.

Mayor Kenney is set to announce that the city is taking back its public schools — and is promising to pay for them.

In an address on Thursday morning, Mayor Kenney announced the city will take back its public schools, while promising to pay for them as well. Mayor Kenney who has made education a primary feature of his administration, pledged to have the City of Philadelphia cover an ample amount of the $1 billion deficit the school system is predicting over five years. 

In a letter to the public released on Thursday Mayor Kenney said, “the SRC has made for a system with no accountability. The commission also has presided over cycles of stability and investment in schools followed by instability and deep cuts that officials said must end.”
