Update 12:56 pm — According to 6ABC, the gunman has been arrested and no one was harmed or injured.

Philadelphia Community College and a near by high school are currently on lockdown because of reports of a gunman on campus, according to 6 ABC.

It happened at 10 a.m. Tuesday inside the Bonnell Buiding on campus.

Authorities tell Action News that “a male reported that he was threatened by another male with a gun in the building.”

Police are telling everyone in the Bonnell Building and the nearby Winnet Building to shelter in place as officers sweep the area.

No shots have been fired at this time.

The armed man is said to be about 5 foot 4 inches tall wearing a blue vest, red hoodie and grey sweat pants.

This comes one day after a post was put online about a threat to attack a Philadelphia campus yesterday.
