Dr. Holly Carter, CEO and founder of Releve Entertainment, continues to reach new heights intersecting mainstream media and faith. According to UGospel, the media veteran was announced as a signature panelist for Variety’s 2015 Purpose: The Family Entertainment and Faith-Based Summit.
Dr. Carter will be sharing insight on topics including Bible Breaking Through: The State of Faith-Based and Family Entertainment alongside some industry greats.
Selma actor, David Oyelowo, is giving the keynote address. Other entertainment elites like Rob Moore, Mark Burnett and Roma Downey will are also part of the summit.
The Variety summit is a great event filled with faith and entertainment leaders, but it isn’t anything new for Dr. Carter. She’s the founder of The Merge Summit, a conference created to educate, empower and inspire men and women of faith in entertainment. This year’s Merge Summit is scheduled to take place in Baltimore, Chicago and Atlanta in August.
Dr. Holly Carter not only comes with her love for the Lord, but years of industry experience and knowledge. Before producing shows like BET’s “The Sheards” and Oxygen’s popular preachers franchise, Dr. Carter’s career began casting for sitcoms including the Fresh Prince of Bel Air and Martin. Her company later expanded into management, music and branding working with artists like Usher, Mary Mary, Michelle Williams, Deitrick Haddon and more.
Dr. Carter continues to grow her mission by providing content that advances the kingdom and culture alike.
