If you see an animal chained up outside, please call Animal Care & Control Team of Philadelphia at 267-385-3800 or animal control in your area. Pet owners will be fined.
Broad Street Run Deadline
Tonight at midnight is the deadline to sign up for the 10 mile Broad Street Run, which will take place May 3. Once again, computers will select runners. About 40,000 people are expected to participate. Sign up now at www.broadstreetrun.com.

Chocolate Prices Are Up!
Heads up if you haven’t gotten that chocolate for your boo yet for Valentine’s Day! You may want to take some extra cash with you, because experts say the cost of chocolate in the U.S. is higher this year, due to the fact that China and other Asian countries have fallen in love with chocolate too! In addition, drought, crop disease and a shortage of cocoa supplies in countries that produce the bean all play a part in the high cost chocolate!
Deadline To Use Radio Shack Gift Cards
Radio Shack announced last week that it would be closing more than two thousand stores as part of its bankruptcy. However, the retailer says it has about $44 million worth of gift cards out there. The deadline to use that Radio Shack gift card is March 6th. Valentine’s weekend may not be a bad time to put that gift card to use!
