History has been made in Jersey City! Tara Walker has become the first black female firefighter 143-year-history of Jersey City!
Back in 2011 Walker submitted her application, went through the long process of physiological physical and written exams. In addition, in May she kicked off eight weeks of training! Now Walker is a firefighter in her hometown of Jersey City!
