3. Camp out in your backyard out in the park. Camping can be an expensive venture by the time you add up travel costs. However if you’re a fan of the great outdoors, why not spend a fun-filled weekend with the kids camping.

4. Go swimming: Swimming isn’t just a refreshing way to beat the heat—it’s also a great workout. It gets your heart pumping and helps to build your lung capacity.

5. Act like a kid again: get with a group of friends that love to have some good old fashion fun. Have a Hulu hoop or a Jumprope contest. Get some of the young people in your area to join in.
