My heart was touched in a big way when I read this story earlier this morning! On a flight from Chicago to San Diego, fourteen Marines were on their way home from serving in Afghanistan. And thanks to the hearts of seven first-class passengers, they gave up their seats to the marines.
American Airlines has a policy to upgrade servicemen and women in uniform whenever possible. Just so happens that on this particular flight, there were 7 empty seats in first class. Therefore, those first-class passengers jumped out of their seats for the other Marines so they could all sit together. The Captain said it was really touching.
