Now that the government shutdown is over, brace yourself for a potential SEPTA shutdown.
SEPTA says it needs $6 billion just to allow the current system to stay safe and for systems to be up to date. If lawmakers refuse to give billions in transportation funding to SEPTA, routes may shut down.
In the next three weeks, State Lawmakers, will vote on a Transportation Funding Bill.
Let’s pray that lawmakers can provide the needed funding for SEPTA because if SEPTA’s routes stop, this will leave many with no means of transportation for their daily commute.
