Obamacare, also known as the Affordable Healthcare Act, went into effect today. This means that millions of uninsured people can begin signing up for health insurance through market places created by Obamacare!
It can be a complicated process but it doesn’t have to be because there are plenty of resources and navigators to help with this process!
One way that is easy for some is going online and signing up at www.healthcare.org. It will show you all of the plans that are available as well the cost for the plans. Sign up goes through March 31st but those who sign up Dec. 15th can get coverage starting January 1st.
