Karen Clark-Sheard, of the legendary Clark Sisters, has some concerns with her 23-year-old son, J. Drew Sheard II and his decision to ditch the family’s gospel roots for R&B. And even though his father is Bishop J. Drew Sheard and his mother is who she is, J. Drew wants to pave his own way and express himself through his music his way as well; even though his parents are not happy about it. J. Drew said in a recent interview that he doesn’t care what anybody thinks of him as he pursues his dream in the world of R&B.
