Kirk Franklin did an interview on satellite radio this morning that really opened the door fully into his childhood. Over the years Franklin has shared a lot about his childhood while ministering through his music. However, during this interview, he touched on a host of topics including how he was raised, admitted to paying for a girl’s abortion when he was 15, dished on a few troubling family issues he experienced as a youth, revealed what drew him closer to his faith and more. The reason Franklin revealed so much is to show how it all played a part in making him the man that he is today. To God be the glory!
