Believe or not a petition has been launched calling for Oprah Winfrey to show her friend and business partner, Tyler Perry, the door out of her network OWN!
Change.org claims that Perry “perpetuates stereotypes” about the black community! Even though Perry’s new series, “The Haves and the Have Nots,” premiered Tuesday night on OWN as the highest-rated series premiere on the network and “Love Thy Neighbor” debuted the following day as its second-highest rated premiere, the organization wants him removed from OWN because he is tarnishing Oprah’s legacy of educating, empowering, and uplifting people of all races to be better versions of themselves.
