Singer Kelly Price turns 39 today!

Kelly Price Profile:

Kelly Price was born into a minister’s family in Queens, New York. Her musical influences include The Clark Sisters and other gospel greats.

Kelly got her start as a session singer for Mariah Carey, Brian McKnight, Faith Evans and Aretha Franklin, and eventually caught the attention of Sean “Puffy” Combs, who put her on such singles as The Notorious B.I.G.‘s “Mo’ Money, Mo’ Problems” and Mase‘s “Feels So Good.”

In 2009, Kelly announced the formation of the super-group T-D-K with Deborah Cox and Tamia. They also announced a debut album, The Queen Project, but it has yet to see the light of day.

Kelly has released six studio albums. The last one was 2011’s Kelly.
