CLOSE

This morning Philadelphia Schools Superintendent William Hite announced changes to the proposed school closings list. Since announcing the closures in December, the district has reviewed the concerns and recommendations. Today’s results were revealed in a revised proposal, cutting the closure of 37 schools to 29.  Ten schools were spared from the closures or program mergers, however, two new schools to the list.
