Today’s Daily Faith-Lift ™ is designed to remind us to be a warrior and not a worrier.
My dear sister-friend Karen sent me a text this morning sharing what God put on her heart about being a warrior and not a worrier! That got in me and I just couldn’t keep it to myself.
We know the saying, “If you pray, don’t worry. If you worry, don’t pray.” The two just don’t mix together, there is no way we can do both.
Worrying accomplishing absolutely nothing; and it’s not good for us. Also, worrying is the opposite of trusting God and it puts our focus in the wrong direction.
It’s time to go from being a worrier to being the warrior that we are; because we have been equipped with the armor of God for the journey because the battle has already been won over whatever we choose to worry about!
Because we are warriors, we shouldn’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything.
Name it and claim it, “I’m a warrior not a worrier!”
