Today’s Daily Faith-Lift ™ is designed to remind us on this day to “be courageous”.
We remember many of those who were courageous as we mark the 11th anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks. We remember the first responders who lost their lives, those that lost their lives saving the lives of others and those who gave their lives so that we could have our lives. They were courageous!
My morning devotional, “The Word for You Today”, reminded me of the courageous passengers on United Flight 93 who rushed the hijackers to try to save the aircraft. These were complete strangers up against impossible odds. Together they made the ultimate sacrifice!
Even though all forty-four passengers on board lost their lives, the heroes on that plane showed the highest-level of courage!
Therefore, you should know that at the highest-level of whatever you are facing today, be courageous! Knowing that The One who sits at the highest level is with you and will never leave you or forsake you; and that is our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, who made the ultimate sacrifice so that we would be free!
Know that Jesus has your back and be courageous!
