Today’s Daily Faith-Lift ™ is designed to remind you of when to sow and when to let go!
One of my sisters-in-Christ sent me a quote yesterday which says, “If you allow people to make more withdrawals than deposits in your life, you will be out of balance and in the negative. Know when to close the account!”
This quote reminded me of what my brother-in-ministry, Rev. Leroy Miles, told me, “You have to be careful and identify the sowers and suckers in your life.” This means that I have to know the difference between sowing into people and the people sucking the life out of me!
This goes for all of us! We have to know when to sow and when to let go! If you are sowing and they are not growing, then it’s time to get going; or else they will suck the life right out of you and before you know it you are emotionally bankrupt!
Therefore, just like you check your bank statement, check your life statement. If the withdrawals from your life outweigh the deposits into your life, leaving you out of balance and in the negative, CLOSE THE ACCOUNT down and watch your amount go up!
