I’m clear this is not one of those “fake it until you make it” quotes. It’s the kind of quote that makes me want to stand up straight and walk boldly into all of what God has for me. It speaks volumes to me that…
If you are down to your last dime, you have to:
Act like there is money in your bank, if there isn’t money in your bank, until there is money in your bank; because our God is a provider!
If you are down to nothing, God is up to something, so you have to:
Act like there is a way out, if there isn’t a way out, until there is a way out; because our God is a Way-Maker!
If the test results show there’s no hope, you have to:
Act like there is healing in your body, if it isn’t healing in your body, until there is healing in your body; because our God is a Healer!
And if you feel like your whole life is falling into pieces, you have to:
Act like there is peace in your pieces, if there isn’t peace in your pieces, until there is peace in your pieces; because we serve a Lord and Savior who IS the “Prince of Peace!”
So as my pastor says, “Act like it “is” so, if it “isn’t” so, until it “is” so!”
