Pastor Jamal Bryant, founder of the Empowerment Temple in Baltimore, MD, challenged clergymen across the nation to register members of their congregation; and so far preachers have register over 100,000 voters, as part of a voter registration campaign created to move the African-American community forward in politics, education and economics.

For the Empowerment Movement to reach its goal of getting 1 million voters, that will take 500,000 churches, 20 people registered at each church, 1 million voters.
