Blacksmoke Media recording artist, Bryan Wilson, best known for the songs “If You’re Talking About Jesus” and “His Eye is on the Sparrow” with the Mississippi Children’s Choir, will be elevated to the office of Apostle of the Bapolstogic Movement, Inc., Saturday, April 28, 2012 @ 12 PM at the Miracle Center of Faith Missionary Baptist Church, 9161 Hampton Overlook Drive, Capitol Heights, MD 20743. The ceremony will be officiated by Chief Apostle Lionel Childress of CDT Ministries in Marshall, TX.  During the service, Overseer Buffie McIver (pastor of the Nev’im Church in Washington, D.C.) and Prophet Corey Neal (pastor of Radical Nation Temple in Perry, FL) will be elevated to the offices of Bishop and their ministries fall under the umbrella of the Bapolstogic Movement.

The Bapolstogic Movement is a 501C3 organization Wilson founded to draw modern believers who want to experience the type of Pentecostal experience that occurred during the Azusa Street Revivals in 1906. “The goal is to win souls with love, signs and passion,” says Wilson. “It’s a movement to make ride or die witnesses for Jesus Christ. It’s an infusion of doctrines I learned from the Baptist, COGIC, Apostolic and Deliverance denominations. I also studied Jewish history at Princeton Theological Seminary as a master’s of divinity student and have re-inserted that into the Christianity we practice. After all, Christianity is a Jewish religion but we’ve gotten away from that and I want to bring that culture back.”
