A part-time bank teller at a Drexel Hill, PA Bank has been accused of stealing $80K from the Bank and it’s customers.. According to authorities, Sarah Simms of Parkside Road used the stolen thousands to buy clothes, pay bills, and gamble. Bank officials noticed small thefts ranging from $3,000 to $8,000 and notified Police. Their investigation led them to Simms, who allegedly told police she only took $6,000 in cash from a money drawer. “The red flag was raised when three customers notified the bank of unauthorized withdrawals in January,” Upper Darby police. Sims faces 22 charges ranging from forgery to ID theft.
