Aretha Franklin has called of herwedding to long time companion and friend William ‘Willie’ Wilkerson. According to Franklin the couple was moving way to fast and some things had not been thought our thoroughly. The two planned on tieing the know on a yacht in Miami, Beach in June or July.
Aretha and Will released a statement:
‘Regretfully, To Our Friends and Supporters: Will and I have decided we were moving a little too fast, and there were a number of things that had not been thought through thoroughly. There will be no wedding at this time.
