New York, NY — GRAMMY award-winning Gospel duo Mary Mary are getting their own reality show with an eight-episode, one-hour original series that will air on WE tv. The show will debut March 29, 2012 and air on Thursday nights. The show, tentatively titled, “Mary Mary” will follow sisters Erica and Tina Campbell as they balance their busy careers and their growing families.

Kim Martin, President and General Manager of WE tv believes the new reality show as a perfect fit for the network.

“Mary Mary is a great fit for WE tv. The series speaks to our programming strategy of producing stories that feature every kind of family and all kinds of drama. Erica and Tina are modern women balancing careers and family and doing it in the spotlight. Their issues are the same as so many women today, and this show will capture the entertaining ups and downs of life that they face on a daily basis.”

A press releases by WE tv provides an overview of the show:

As the popular duo Mary Mary, Erica and Tina Campbell are busy career women touring the country, promoting their sixth album, “Something Big” and walking Hollywood red carpets. Music is a family business for the Campbell sisters: Erica’s husband, Warryn, is the group’s producer and Tina’s husband, Teddy, is the drummer in Jay Leno’s band. Outside of the recording studio, Erica and Tina struggle to balance family life—Erica and Warryn are expecting their third child in February, and Tina and Teddy are raising a blended family of four. The sisters also deal with their large, extended family of seven siblings, one of which is the group’s stylist, and their parents who have been married and divorced three times, to each other, and are currently separated.
