This Saturday, GMC TV will air the world premiere of an original gospel musical stage play starring Robin Givens and Kierra Sheard called “The Love You Save” at 7pm!
“The Love You Save” is a contemporary dramatic piece that portrays the repercussions of the hurt and pain that come from growing up without a father.
Alexis Benet (Givens), a materialistic workaholic who tries to use her money and social influence to control every aspect of her children’s lives. But when one of her bighearted children brings home a homeless man in an effort to convince her mother to help save a local shelter, Alexis is forced to acknowledge that the man is actually her estranged husband and the children’s father. As the truth surfaces, Alexis must answer for the choices she has made to get to the top and begins to question the sacrifices she’s made to live in the lap of luxury.
The family has lived a life of privilege and opportunity as a result of the matriarch’s hard work and business acumen. Alexis, having raised her two sons and daughter as a widow and now a powerful and rich businesswoman, faces the revelation of an ugly truth.
