Due to technical difficulties, the finale episode of BET’s Sunday Best that was supposed to air tomorrow has been postponed and will air on Sunday, September 11th at 8:00 p.m.
Apparently during Episode 9, an incorrect voting phone number was given for one of the contestants. Therefore, BET will re-air last week’s episode with the correct information and extend the voting process. Voting will continue online and via text but if you voted by phone you will have to do it again beginning on September 4th at 9:00 p.m. Votes casts by phone during the period of August 29–August 31 will not be counted.BET wants to make sure the results of the show are correct because St. Louis native Amber Bullock will go head to head with Denton, Texas’ own Andrea Helms. These two finalists have worked extremely hard during the season and we want to ensure they both have a fair shot in the competition.The finale will be worth the wait to see on Sept. 11th when the two finalists perform a tribute to Mahalia Jackson and of course we’ll see who will be crowned the next Sunday Best!Source: http://www.bet.com
