President Obama is taking heat again and this time for taking too much vacation, with critics like Donald Trump loudly slamming him. Today, the first family will head out to Martha’s Vineyard, where they’ll stay for about 10 days on a 28-acre retreat.
According to CBS News, Obama has taken far less vacation that George W. Bush and Ronald Reagan had at the same point in their presidencies. After 31 months in office, Obama has taken 61 vacation days. At the same point in their presidencies, George W. Bush had spent 180 days on his ranch, while Ronald Reagan had taken 112 at his ranch. The recent president with the least time off? That would be Bill Clinton, with 28 days.
