Just a friendly reminder… there is a curfew in effect this weekend for children and teenagers. Mayor Nutter announced that officers will be out all weekend enforcing the city’s curfew on young people; which requires children under age 13 to be home by 10 p.m. and teenagers under 18 off the streets by midnight.

If any child or teenager are caught violating curfew, they will be taken home or to a police station. Also, minors and parents who let their children violate the curfew will be penalized. The maximum fine for staying out is $150.

The moves come after violent teenage mobs attacked pedestrians on June 25 and July 30; as part of the  iPledge campaign, unveiled by Nutter in July.
