CeCe’s Weekend Rewind

Michael Vick is getting ready to release his autobiography called “Finally Free!” Vick’s book will hit bookstores July 27th. Tony Dungy is doing the forward. In his book, Vick talks about his life: his youth growing up in Virginia, playing for the Atlanta Falcons, the dog fighting scandal, going to prison and landing with the Eagles.

Also, Vick just signed his second endorsement deal since being released from prison on Jan. 27. On Wednesday, Vick signed on to endorse Fuse Science and its line of sports nutrition vitamins and minerals. And on July 1st, Vick returned to Nike, a company that had previously dropped him.

Vick joined the Humane Society of the United States president Wayne Pacelle in Washington Tuesday to announce support for legislation that would penalize criminals who finance animal fighting or who bring children to such events as dogfights and cockfights.
