The American College of Sports Medicine still says you should get 150 minutes a week of moderate-intensity exercise… but, they say that if you can’t fit that in, a little is better than none.
According to the new guidelines, for the 60% of adults who don’t exercise regularly, even 60 minutes a week is beneficial.
Your downtime is important too. Spending too much time sitting, watching TV, or on the computer is bad, even if you get the 150 minutes a week.
