Sounds like a lot of people wanted to see Oprah Winfrey say goodbye. Ratings for Wednesday’s series finale of The Oprah Winfrey Show were the program’s highest in 17 years. The telecast earned a 13.3 household rating, which is up 130% from her average daily rating. It was the biggest audience since a 1994 episode titled “People Shed Their Disguises” in which people who wore wigs or too much makeup were talked into getting a more natural look.
