Driving around or through parts of Philadelphia could be tricky at times this weekend.

Some roads will be closed and others are likely to get jammed at times because of an abundance of events.

SEPTA even has a list of changes to its regular service at www.septa.org/alert/weekend.html.

Here’s a quick calendar.

Friday and Saturday, West Philadelphia

The Penn Relays run both days at Franklin Field, 235 S. 33rd St. Info: www.thepennrelays.com. SEPTA: www.septa.org/events/relays.html.

Friday and Saturday, Center City

Preparations for a major event Saturday mean Friday closings, too. The free street fair of the Philadelphia International Festival of the Arts, from 11 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Saturday, will include live performers on two stages, a Ferris Wheel, a 7:30 p.m. Saturday aerial act, kids’ activities and vendors. Closed will be the 1300 block of Spruce from 9 a.m. Friday to 2:30 a.m. Sunday; Broad Street from Locust to Pine from 1 p.m. Friday to 2:30 a.m. Sunday; and Broad Street from Chestnut to Lombard from 1 a.m. Sunday to 2:30 a.m. Sunday, according to police. Event Info: www.pifa.org/streetfair.

Friday evening, sports complex

The Phillies take on the Mets at 7:05 at Citizens Bank Park. Info: www.phillies.com.

Saturday and Sunday, along the river

Rowers will flock to Boat House Row on the Schuylkill for regattas, and Kelly Drive and other roads near the river can get clogged. On Saturday, the Catholic League Championships will run most of the afternoon. On Sunday, the Dr. White Regatta/InterAC League Girls Championship will last from morning to late afternoon.

Saturday afternoon, sports complex

The Phillies face the Mets again at 1 p.m., and the Flyers face the Boston Bruins at 3 p.m. at the Wells Fargo Center, in the first game of the second round of the Stanley Cup playoffs. Info: www.phillies.com, http://flyers.nhl.com.

Sunday morning, Ben Franklin Bridge

The bridge will be closed from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. for the March of Dimes’ March for Babies, a 4-mile fund-raising trek from Camden’s Waterfront Walk to midspan and back. Info: www.marchforbabies.org.

Sunday morning, Broad Street

The 10-mile Broad Street Run, beginning at 8:30 a.m., will fill the southbound lanes and interrupt cross-traffic, as well as bus routes, as it proceeds from Somerville Avenue (Central High) in Olney to the Philadelphia Navy Yard. Individual registration is closed. SEPTA suggests runners park at South Philadelphia sports complex, take Broad Street Line to starting point, walk back to car afterward. Info: www.broadstreetrun.com.
