Tomorrow will be my last show in Philly as my wife and I move to Greenville SC to be apart of the Youth and Family Ministry there. Its going to be hard on my heart to leave but I know that if God says go I should say to him where and when. I will always love you Philly and please continue to pray for me and lets stay connected.

BIGCITY giving back to Youth in Camden NJ.

While most people were out shopping for Christmas gifts, I was in Camden New Jersey passing gifts out to some of Camden’s less fortunate. I didn’t do this so I can feel good about myself, its a must to give back. Many people have come and said I was wrong to wear a Santa Suit, what are your thoughts?

The single ministry has always been my heros in the Church because they have so much they deal with, and being single is not a easy thing to do. What do you do when you break up with your partner and have to see her every sunday at service. How as a single person do you handle this?

Daddies little girls will grow up! We must make sure that we spend as much time with them while they are young. When my daughter called me from South Carolina just to tell me what she was wearing for her 18th birthday, it blessed my soul. I’ve done all I could to teach her and to raise her to not follow after others but to be her own women, and she has become that strong women who stands on her

I’ve had the pleasure of spending time with Pastor James S. Hall Jr. who has had 60 years of pastoring and 42 years of being the Pastor at Truimph Baptist Church. Many dont know that he baptisted Jesse Jackson and marched for equal rights. I think its so important to know those who has paved the road less traveled by making it your duty to support them.

It’s so important to understand that our time is’nt God’s time. When I was nominated for a Community Care Award at the Stellars in Nashville this year, I stood on the stage and felt like my prayers were going to be answered. I know for me and my wife it’s a must that I wear my wedding ring. Some people don’t understand it or may not think its important but I have to have it on. It’s not only a sign that I honor my commitment to my wife but it’s a respect thing. My wife is the best thing that has happened to me and to wear the ring that links me to her is an honor!

Growing up I didn’t have the honor of walking to school with my father. I never had that pleasure and to be honest it has affected me, because I missed so much not having my father around. I will tell anyone that we don’t spend enough time with our children, and that quality time you simply don’t get back. Just like any big decision in a family, school is a big decision. It take alot of preperation to insure the overall success of your child. Dads should walk their children to their first day of school.

Lets make it our duty to treat our children’s education with the same importance that we treat our personal issues. We can make a difference in the lives of our children.

This past weekend I took my wife for a anniversary dinner. We have been married for 23 years and I must admit she is the pick of the litter, I must admit she gives me goose bumps. I am amazed that she can go to work, cook the food and still know where everything is the house is. “baby where is my shoe” you left it in the garage. “baby where is my watch” its on the dinning room table
