UNIFYING LESSON PRINCIPLE:

When we experience the vast diversity of creation, we wonder how it is all held together. What does this complexity tell us about the world we live in? The psalmist praised God for sustaining creation.

CONCLUDING REFLECTION:

The world and everything in it is too complex and perfectly held together for it to be an act of random coincidence. We are left here with not simply an appreciation of God’s creation and God’s provision but with a deeper appreciation of the God who created and the God who provided.

PRAYER:

Father, we are humbled and awestruck by your creation and the provision you have made for all created things. Help us to be forever grateful for your provision not just for ourselves, but for all of creation as well. Teach us not to limit our understanding of who you are by the box that is our own minds. But show us through your Word how you transcend everything we think we know, so that we can grow to know you deeper still. We honor, praise and love you. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
