Today’s “New at 2” is “Don’t Go” by Elijah Connor. Elijah is the younger cousin of one of the world’s most influential singers, “Prince.” Elijah also has deep musical roots in the church and has been trained under the Queen of Soul Aretha Franklin and gospel artist J Moss.
After being diagnosed with cancer in 2011, Elijah promised to God that if He healed his body that he would dedicate his life to him. Elijah kept his promise to God. He’s spokesperson for The American Cancer Society and around travels throughout different cities singing the good news and sharing his testimony of being cancer free.
