The End of Queen Lane Apartments!
It was a bittersweet moment in Germantown early this morning as a long-standing piece of history came tumbling down. Sixteen stories of the Queen Lane Apartments was a planned implosion of the 59-year-old building. The building will now be replaced by more modern public housing.
Sentencing For Christina Regusters Set For December!
Sentencing for 21-year-old Christina Regusters has been set for December. Regusters was convicted yesterday for the kidnapping and sexual of a 5-year-old girl taken from the Bryant Elementary School and held for almost close to 19 hours before left and found in the middle of the night in a park. There is a big possibility that Regusters will be sentenced to life in prison.

More trouble for the NFL! Running Back Adrian Peterson of the Minnesota Vikings has been indicted on charges of injury to a child. Early this morning Peterson turned himself into authorities, was booked and then released after posting a $15,000 bond. He is accused of hitting his 4-year-old child with a switch. Peterson will not be playing in tomorrow’s game when The Vikings take on New England.
In college action, Penn State plays Rutgers at 8pm!
