SEPTA and Transport Workers Union Local 234 are back at the bargaining table once again as tonight’s midnight deadline quickly approaches. At midnight, the contract for more than 5,000 bus drivers, trolley operators, mechanics and subway operators expires. Prayerfully, both parties will reach an agreement as the union fights for better health benefits and higher wages for SEPTA workers.
